Breeze Airways New Beginnings
Breeze Airways Might Soon Offer International Flights
Breeze Airways is a low-cost carrier that offers its services in the United States. However, word has it that the low-cost airline might soon offer international flights as it is thinking of expanding its services beyond the United States of America. The airline was founded in the year 2021 and since then has expanded rapidly. Due to the positive response it received from the public; Breeze Airways might soon offer international flights. Currently, the carrier is seeking permission from the Federal Aviation Administration aka FAA to eventually fly to international locations including some parts of Europe. The CEO of the airline, David Neeleman stated:
“These pockets of pain that are being created, because either there is no air service there, it’s gone away completely, or it’s just regional planes going to hubs, has created hundreds and hundreds of market opportunities for us,” Neeleman continued. “The market has changed dramatically, and it has created a big opportunity for us.”
The comments came when Breeze Airways announced on Wednesday 29th November 2023 that it has added Ogden, Utah to its roaster along with flights to Orange Country Santa Ana, California starting on Feb 21, 2024. President of Breeze Airways, Tom Doxey stated in a statement:
“Today, Breeze is writing a new chapter for Ogden – one in which its residents get access to simple, affordable, and convenient air travel to highly desirable destinations like Orange County,”
A Feat of Breeze – Low-Cost Airline
Currently, the carriers of Breeze Airways fly to 46 cities in 27 states of the United States of America but have not yet ventured out of the expanse of the United States. However, soon that is to be a thing of the past and Breeze Airways is ready to spread its wings in international skies. The low-cost airline operates a fleet of both Embraer 190 and 195 aircraft along with Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Breeze Airways uses a low-cost model with three fare options namely Nice, Nicer, and Nicest.
