One aspect that must be considered when making a travel wish list is safety, especially if you are traveling solo. For those who are plotting their solo or group travels this year, Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection travel insurance provider released its 9th annual “State of Travel Insurance Safest Destinations” report. In this report, the travel insurance provider revealed the world’s safest cities and countries. These super safe destinations should be on your travel radar this year. In order to determine the rankings, Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection did an analysis of the responses of about 1,702 travelers who were polled between the dates of August 24 and September 23 in the previous year.
Along with these responses, third-party data sources were also evaluated for concerns like weather emergencies, health measures, the safety of underrepresented groups, and terrorism. Moreover, data and information from the U.S. Department of State, Global Finance, and The Economist were also taken into account by Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection.
