Best Order to Ride Universal Studios Orlando Rides
Try to purchase the park hopper ticket so that you can enjoy both the parks on the same day and make sure to arrive bright in early to get on the rides without excessive waits in queues. If you are a hardcore fan and waiting isn’t really your style, you can purchase Express Passes as they allow you to jump to the front of the line once per ride.
Even though when we enter the park, the main agenda on our mind is to go directly to the big rides, however, if you plan on riding everything, this strategy is not going to work. As you enter the park you will first come across Despicable Me, so try to jump on it first before the queues get long. Afterward make your way to Villain-con, which even though is a new addition to the Universal Studios Orlando rides, has a faster moving line because of its continual loading. Once you are done riding both the rides in Minion Land, hit Rip Ride Rockit before you head deeper into Universal Studios Park.
Given below is the optimal order for hitting the rides, which you can of course change based on your needs and requirements:
- Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem
- Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
- Transformers: The Ride 3D
- Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
- Hogwarts Express (though best to hit this whenever you are switching parks if you have a park-to-park pass)
- Revenge of the Mummy
