An Over View of What’s to Come
Return of All-Day Park Hopper Access
Being an ever-so family-friendly and caring franchise, Disney is continuously striving to bring new benefits to its fans, in order to make the experience more fun and less worrisome. Back in 2021, when Covid took its toll on our mental health, Disney came to our rescue on its white steed, bringing with it, Park Hopper access. However, there was one very minute problem, the Park Hopper access holders had to wait till 2 p.m. to avail the privilege.
However, we wailed, and Disney listened, starting from the 9th of January 2024, visitors harbouring the special Park Hopper passes will have more flexibility to explore Disney’s theme parks without any time restrictions. That’s right! Forget waiting till 2 p.m. to avail park hopper benefits and come at any time to hop on the Disney fun.
There is another great thing that Disney has planned for us on January 9th, 2024, along with all-day Park Hopper access, Disney is bringing back dining plans. Dining plans are valid for those staying at the Disney Resort Hotels on a vacation package. Passholders will also be thrilled to know that good-to-go days are also scheduled to return in January, allowing tourists to visit Disney World theme parks without reservation. However, blackout dates will continue to apply.
Our Two Cents on Disney Park Hopper
For all those who don’t know, Disney Park Hopper is an add-on option that allows you to visit multiple Disney parks in one day. Park Hopper is offered at Walt Disney World Resort Florida and Disneyland Resort California. Opting for the Park Hopper upgrade is a good idea if you are planning to visit multiple parks and will also help you save time. But is Disney Park Hopper worth it? Well, that depends on you.
First of all, you need to take into consideration your budget, The bottom line is Park Hopper access passes are expensive and if you think that they are going to bust your budget, then they aren’t worth it. The next thing you have to consider is the number and ages of guests in your party. Getting Park Hopper access at Disney World Florida might not be a good idea. The parks and resorts are so spread out that it will take about half an hour for you to travel from one park to another, half-hour that you can spend enjoying the attractions in one park.
Disneyland Park California however is a different story. There you can easily visit both parks because they are located near to each other and no time is wasted when walking from one park to another. The last thing you have to take into consideration is your theme park plans. Before visiting, check if there are any new attractions, if there are, it may be prudent to park hop and avoid the crowds gathering at newer areas. Moreover, park hopping is the way to go if your goal is to tackle as many rides as possible in a short time.
With Disney launching all-day Park Hopper access, from January 9, 2024, eliminating time restraints and giving visitors more freedom, the appeal and demand for Park Hopper might increase, with more and more visitors inlacing towards Park Hopper access. However, do your research before visiting Disney theme parks and take into consideration your requirements, as even without the extra added cost of Park Hopper access, Disney is pretty expensive.
